Educational Background For several years, Atula Jamir has worked as a Senior lecturer and Chaplain at the Discipleship Bible College, and visiting lecturer at the Working People’s Bible College, India. Besides teaching and mentoring she has been deeply involved in church ministries, preaching, singing, giving Bible studies, speaking in conferences and retreats. Her work experience abroad among others includes Teaching Assistant at Boston University School of Theology, Resource Assistant at the Ministry Resource Center at Yale Divinity School and Research Assistant, IBMR (International Bulletin of Missionary Research), Overseas Ministries Study Centre, New Haven, CT. She has written several articles, edited magazines and journals and has authored The Naga Images of the Human Being: A Resource for a Contemporary Theological Anthropology (Jorhat, Assam: Tribal Study Centre, 2001). Atula is currently a Th.D. student at Boston University School of Theology majoring in Philosophy and Theology. She received her STM from Yale Divinity School, New Haven, CT, M.Th. from United Theological College, Bangalore, India, B.D. from Eastern Theological College, India.
Family Information She is married to Mangyang Imsong and they have two children Lensa and Alimen.
